Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Car B 30...... mph............ x miles
Car A 50...... mph............ x+15 miles
...
time taken is the same
...
t= d/r
t carA = t car B
x/30 = x+15/50
50x=30(x+15)
50x = 30x+450
add -30x
50x-30x=450
20x= 450
/20 x=450/20
x=22.5 miles Car B
Car A = 22.5 +15 = 37.5 miles
