speed of wind be y

speed with wind = x+y
speed against wind = x-y
...
distance with wind =360 miles
time = 3 hours
d/r = t
360/(x+y)=3
360 = 3x+3y
/3
120=x+y......................1

Distance against wind = 360 miles
time = 4
speed = x-y
...
360/(x-y)=4
/4
90/(x-y)=1
x-y = 90.................2
add 1 & 2
2x=210
/2
x= 105 mph speed of plane
speed of wind = 120-105=15 mph.
