distance 400 miles

Bus A distance traveled = 40t
Bus B distance traveled = 30 t

(40t)^2+(30t)^2=400^2
1600t^2+900t^2=160000
2500t^2=160000
/2500
t^2= 160000/2500
t^2=64
t=8 hours
