Question 352976: I am having a tough time with this question. two cars start at points 235 miles apart and drive twords each other. one cars starts at 10:00am and travles 5 mph slower than the car that leaves at 10:30. they meet at 12 noon. find the adverage speed of both cars.

(2)(x) + (3/2)(x+5) = 235
