287 miles + 42 miles = 329 miles
let R1 = speed of faster car
329 miles = R1 * 7 hours
329/7 = R1
47 mph = R1 = speed faster car
let R2 = speed of slower car
287 miles = R2 * 7 hours
287/7 = R2
41 mph = R2 = speed slower car
