rate = 200 mph ; time = x hrs; distance = 200x miles

2nd plane DATA:
rate = 250 mph ; time = x-(1/2) hrs ; distance = 250(x-(1/2))= 250x-125 miles

Equation:
distance = distance
200x = 250x-125
-50x = -125
x = 2.5 hrs
