Jill is 11 kilometers away from Joe. Both begin to walk toward each other at the same time. Jill walks at 2.5 km/h. They meet in 2 hours. How fast is Joe walking?

You knew it was a word problem but didn't classify it as one.
l=jill e= joe
l+e=11
r*t=d
2*l+2*e=11
2*2.5+2*e=11
5+2e=11
2e=6
e=3
Joe is walking at 3 kph
