Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
p - w = 1000/4 = 250

p + w = 1000/(10/3) = 300

adding equations ___ 2p = 550 ___ p = 275

substituting ___ 275 + w = 300 ___ w = 25
