Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
D=RT
480=(X+X+40)4
480=(2X+40)4
480=8X+160
8X=480-160
8X=320
X=320/8
X=40 KPH. FOR THE SLOWER CAR.
40+40=80 KPH. FOR THE FASTER CAR.
PROOF:
480=(40+80)4
480=120*4
480=480
