Question 299980: A motorboat takes hours to travel going upstream. The return trip takes hours going downstream. What is the rate of the boat in still water and what is the rate of the current?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The boat's speed = mph (or knots)
The current = mph (or knots)
----------------
Without some numbers, that's all that can be said.
A literal solution is possible, but it's not worth the effort, imo.
