Traveling 90 mph, it takes the Express Train six seconds for the entire train to enter a two-mile tunnel.
How many seconds will it take the Express to completely travel through this tunnel?
:
find the length of the train: 6* .15 mi long
:
Time = dist/speed
Length of the train added to the tunnel dist: 2.15 mi
:
t = *3600
t = 86 seconds
