this is direct proportion
3 hours by car is 1/2 hour by plane
4 hours by car will be 4* 1/2 / 3
=2/3 hours = 45 minutes by plane

This of course is completely unrealistic considering the hassles of buying tickets, getting to and from the airport, hassles at the airport and the luggage mess.
Drive any trip 4 hours or under.
You will also have your car with you.
