Question 283502: Two cars start are racing, starting at point A and finishing at point B. The first car goes all the way with constant speed; the second car goes half the distance between A and B with half the speed of the first car. How fast should the second car go to reach point B at the same time the first car does?

Half the distance at half the speed takes the same time as the whole distance at full speed.
Time is up, the 2nd car can't do it.
