Question 281971: The arrival time t of train B must be at least 5 minutes different from the 4:00 pm arrival time of train A. Express the statement in terms of an inequality invilving an absolute value.
First, I'm not sure if it is mathmatically appropriate to represent the time 4:00 as a real number.
Would the answer be something like:
|4:00-5|>=t

|4:00-5|>=t
-----------------------
You want the "distance" from 4:00 to be at least 5 minutes.
----------------------------
|a-b| means "the distance between a and b".
---
Your problem:
|4:00-t| >= 5 minutes
