a car tire has a diameter of 56cm. the tire is turning at 400 revolutions per minute. calculate the distance travelled in one minute.
C circumference = 2 * pi * r = pi * d (where r is radius and d is diameter)
C = pi * 56 = 56pi
56pi * cm/rev * 400 * rev/min = (56pi * 400) cm/min
(56pi * 400) cm/min = 22400pi cm/min
approx 70371.675 cm/min
