Distance travelled in 1/2 second = 300 feet
Distance travelled in 0.5 second = 300 feet
Distance travelled in 10 seconds = [(300)/(0.5)]*10 feet
= 6000 feet

Set your equation up to look like this
300 * 10 = 3000
3000/0.5 = 6000
Your seconds units cancel out and you are left with feet.
So your answer is 6000 ft.

There are 20 1/2 second groups in 10 seconds, so
300*20 = 6,000 feet.
