Hello,
Let's look at a word in the problem and then it might make sense.
100mph can be written out as 100 miles per hour. The word "per" means
"for each" so it can be written as:
100 miles for each hour
Since 15 minutes is only 1/4 of an hour, we'd multiply 1/4 times 100 which gives us:
25 miles
Make sense?
