Answer by vleith(2983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Runner A's speed is 5.6
The distance is 26.2

hours Runner A will take 4.68 hours to run the race
Runner B is running faster, but has a 0.5 hour lag.
hours. B takes 4.09 hours to run, but left 0.5 hours later than A.
So the total time for B is 4.09 + 0.5 = 4.59
B is still going to finish first
