You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = cost.
.35x = profit

Cost + Profit = Selling price
x + .35x = 670
1.00 + .35x = 670
1.35x = 670

Divide both sides by 1.35:
x= 670/1.35= $496.30 approximately

It usually comes out more even than this, but such is life sometimes. I still think it is correct.
