a bird flies back and forth between two approaching trains. The bird flies 150mph. The trains are initially 510 miles apart, and are traveling tward each other at 40 and 80 mph, respectively. Hw far does hte bird fly before being crushed between the 2 trains? I have solved each for the equation d=rt and I am stumped. Any suggestions with set up. Thank you.

How far does the bird fly before being crushed between the 2 trains?
:
All we have to do is find out how long before the trains collide, then multiply
that times the bird's speed, to find out how far it flies.
:
The relative speed of the trains to each other: 40 + 80 = 120 mph
:
time of collision * speed of bird = birds distance
* 150 = 637.5 miles
