Let d = distance from the airport to the office (at 60 mph)
the entire distance give as 150 mi, therefore:
(150-d) = distance from home to airport (at 30 mph)

drive time + helicopter time = 3 hrs
+ = 3
Multiply equation by 60:
60* + 60* = 3(60)
Cancel out denominators
2(150-d) + d = 180
300 - 2d + d = 180

-2d + d = 180 - 300

-d = -120
d = 120 mi airport to office
then
150 - 120 = 30 min home to airport
