t= 162 km / 54 km/hr = 3 hrs

d= 8hrs * 54 km /hr = 432 km

r=36%2F%282%2F3%29
r=36%2A%283%2F2%29

Divide out the 2 factor:
r=18%2A3=54 km/hr


At this rate, if D=162 km,
then t=D%2Fr
t=162%2F54=3 hrs

If t=8 hrs, D=rt
D=54*8= 432 km
