Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
208/2=104
104=X+X+8
104-8=2X
2X=96
X=96/2
X=48 IS THE SPEED OF THE SLOWER CAR.
48+8=56 IS THE SPEED OF THE FASTER CAR.
PROOF:
2(48+56)=208
2*104=208
208=208
