A weather plane has 6 hours of fuel with which to fly as far out to sea as possible and still have enough fuel to return safely. Find the maximum distance that the plane can reach and return safely if the speed going out is 120 mph. and the speed returning is 160 mph.
120t = 160(6-t)
120t = 960 - 160t
280t = 960
t = 3.428571
