A passenger train leaves a train depot 2 hours ago after a freight train leaves the same depot. The freight train is travelling 20mph slower than the passenger train. Find the rate of each train if the passenger train overtakes the freight train in 3 hrs.

The 2nd train is approaching the freight train at 20 mph. It takes it 3 hours to overtake it, so it was 60 miles ahead when the pass train started.
It got 60 miles away in 2 hours, so it's going 30 mph.
The pass train is going 50 mph.
