When they meet they will have traveled a total of 70 km
:
Write a distance equation: Dist = time * speed
:
1st boy dist + 2nd boy dist = 70 km
2.5(12) + 2.5s = 70
30 + 2.5s = 70
2.5s = 70 - 30

s = 16 mph speed of the other boy
