When operating at full capacity, an electric generator can produce 3000 kilowatts of electrical power. If the same generator is currently producing 2010 kilowatts, at what percentage of its full capacity is it running?
--------------
You are getting 2010 kw when you could be getting 3000 kw.
Percent means "how many you are getting out of 100".
EQUATION:
2010 / 3000 = x / 100
x = 201000/3000
x = 67
----------------
The generator is running at 67% of capacity.
