Question 150258: I wasn't sure how to solve this one:
(It's not for homework, but my mind seems to be blocked for how I do the right sort of division here...)
If I travel at a speed of 40 miles per hour, and I have to travel a distance of 12 miles, how long will it take me to travel (those 12 miles)?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It shows you can reach 40 miles in 1 hour right?
If you nede to travel only 12 miles, divide this by your speed, and you'll get how long it will take. To show,
=12cross(miles)/(40cross(miles)/hr)
=0.3hr*60= 18 minutes ----> time to travel in 12 miles.
Thank you,
