Let the distance be x km
For passenger train:
speed of passenger train=96km/h
therefore time taken by passenger train= distance/speed=
For freight train:
speed of freight train=64km/h
therefore time taken by freight train= distance/speed=
Now passenger train takes 2 hours less than freight train
therefore

=-2
=-2
=-2*-192
x = 384
THEREFORE THE DISTANCE IS 384 KM
