Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
10/2.5=R1
10/3.5=R2
R1=4 MPH WITH THE CURRENT
R2=2.857 MPH AGAINST THE CURRENT
4-2.857=1.14/2=.57 MPH FOR THE CURRENT.
PROOF
4-.57=2.857+.57
3.43=3.43
