Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
120/X+120/2X=3
(2*120+120)/2X=3 NOW CROSS MULTIPLY
6X=240+120
6X=360
X=360/6
X=60 MPH IS THE SPEED GOING.
60*2=120 MPH FOR THE RETURN TRIP.
PROOF.
120/60+120/120=3
2+1=3
3=3
