.
At the same starting point, Margeorie and Paula decided to run in opposite directions.
Margeorie runs at a speed of 15 kph due west while Paula runs at a speed of 12 kph due east.
How long will it take for them to be 135 km apart?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The distance between them increases at the rate of  15 km/h + 12 km/h = 27 km/h.
Hence, they will be 135 km apart in   = 5 hours.
