The rate 60 mph is 1 mile per minute.


In 5 minutes, the truck will have 5 miles head start comparing with the car.


Their relative speed is 70-60 = 10 mph.


It means that the distance between them decreases at the rate of 10 miles per hour.


Therefore, the car will catch the truck in   = 0.5 of an hour.


ANSWER.  The car will overtake the car in 0.5 of an hour, or in 30 minutes.
