Speed is two times as fast -----> the flying time is half as much.


Hence, of the total 9 hours of flying time 3 hours was spent in a corporate jet and 6 hours in the smaller plane.


So the speed of the corporate jet was   = 370 mph


   the speed of the smaller plane was   = 185 mph
