Informally....

Adding one more hour of basketball and one more hour of cycling increased the number of calories by 3280-1850=1430.

So take the first workout of one hour of basketball and two hours of cycling and SUBTRACT one hour of basketball and one hour of cycling. That leaves one hour of cycling, and 1850-1430=420 calories.
