SPEED TIME DISTANCE TO r 500/r 500 BACK 2r 500/(2r) 500 Total 5

Solve for 2r.

Sam travels at a speed of 2500 mile on the way back
It say on the way back he double the spead so it should be 1000, but then he travels for 5 hrs in total so 2h:30 while going and coming back.
so u multiply 1000 miles with 2.5hrs and get 2500 miles

Then return speed = 2S
We then get the following TIME equation:

2S = 200 + 100 ------ Multiplying by LCD, 2S
