There are several ways to get the answer.


1.  First calculate deceleration  a =  = 4.027778 m/s^2.

    Next calculate the distance  d =  =  = 104.4 meters.



2.  Or do the calculation, using average speed    =  = 14.5 m/s.

    Then the distance to the rest is  d =  = 14.5*7.20 = 104.4 meters  --- the same answer.
