This doesn't seem to make any sense at all!
With the right-triangle formed, it appears as though the hypotenuse is 1 and one of the legs is 2, which is IMPOSSIBLE.
Unless, of course, the RIGHT angle is located at Ben's house, in which case the distance from Ben's to Vivian's house is:
which makes only ONE of the other 2 answers correct!
