Let width = w
Let height = h
volume= B*h= (length*width)*height
length is 10 more than the height = h + 10
width is twenty less than twice the height = (2*h) - 20
height = 25 inches
substitute 25 for height
length= h+10= 25+10= 35 inches
width= 2h-20= 2(25)-20= 50-20= 30 inches
volume= B*h= (length*width)*height
volume= B*h= (35 inches*30 inches)*25 inches
12 inches per 1 feet, want units in feet not inches
volume= B*h= (2.92 ft*2.5 ft)*2.08 ft = 15.2 cubic feet
Volume = 15.2 cubic feet (or 15.2 ft^3)
