Let t = How long does Jenny need to drive before they are 380km apart.


Then the time for Kathryn = (t + 3) hours.


Jenny's distance is  60*t kilometers.


Kathryn's distance is 52*(t+3) kilometers.


They move in opposite directions, so the distance between them is the sum of particular distances.


    60t + 52*(t+3) = 380  kilometers.


Simplify and solve for t.
