You divide 4 1/2 by 3 and get 1 1/2. Now add 1 1/2 to 1 1/2 and get 3 hours. 3 hours equal 2/3 of 4 1/2 hours. So now you subtract 3 from 4 1/2 and get your answer. Happy Solving!
