they meet in 9.8 hours, so T goes 9.8 x miles and C goes 9.8x+98 miles
that sum is 1274, since at that point together they have covered the whole distance
19.6x+98=1274
19.6x=1176
x=60 mph for T
C's speed is 70 mph.
