first half of the course and 110 mph for the second half of the course.
Steady Eddy maintained a constant speed of 100 mph throughout the race.

the one who finishes first (shortest time) wins ___ let 2x="course distance"

time=distance/rate

RR ___ t=(x/90)+(x/110)=(11x/990)+(9x/990)=(20/990)x=(200/9900)x

SE ___ t=2x/100=(198/9900)x
