E to L DATA:
distance = x miles ; rate = 60 mph ; time = x/60 hrs
----
L to E DATA:
distance = 350-x miles ; rate = 40 mph ; time = (350-x)/40 hrs
-------
Equation::
time = time
x/60 = (350-x)/40
------
40x = 60*350 - 60x
100x = 60*350
x = 60*3.5 = 210 miles
----
Ans: time = x/60 = 210/60 = 21/6 = 7/2 = 3.5 hrs
