Your formulation needs to be corrected in this way:

    The velocity of a particle is given by the equation V = 5t² + 3t where t is measured in minutes and V is measured in m/min.  
    Find the acceleration of the particle at t = 2 min.

Solution

Acceleration is first derivative of the velocity:  a(t) = V'(t) = 10t + 3,


and at  t = 2 min  acceleration is  a(2) = 10*2 + 3 = 23 m/min^2.
