Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Nina went to the mall traveling 6mph and returned home traveling 15mph. If the total trip took 7 hours, how long did Nina travel at each speed?
-----
Avg speed for the round trip = 2*6*15/(6+15) = 60/7 mi/hr
RT distance = (60/7)*7 = 60 miles --> 30 miles each way
-----
30/6 = 5 hours going
30/15 = 2 hours returning
