If two cars, having the initial distance between them of 120 miles, move toward each other with the speed of 60 miles per hour, then

1.  The distance between them is  d(t) = 120 - 120*t.


2.  They will meet each other in 1 hour   (NOT IN 2 HOURS).


3.  What do the cars do after that ?


4.  If the cars continue to move with the same speed and in their same respective directions, then the distance formula between them is

    d(t) = |120 - 120*t|     (the modulus of the difference; The absolute value).
