I dont know how to set it up or when you know you got your final answer. The book used a chart, but how do you know where to put the info

st=d, s=speed, t=time, d=distance
Going s=60, time=t, d=60t
Returning: s=50, time=t+1, d=50(t-1)
The distance is the same so we can make an equation.
60t=50(t+1)
60t=50t+50
60t-50t=50t-50t+50
10t=50
10t/10=50/10
t=5 hrs
going d=60*5=300 mi Answer
Check:
returning d=50*6=300 mi
