Speed of Ryan=x+39
Distance Travelled by Willie=5x
Distance Travelled by Ryan=(x+39)*2
Both shoukd be equal to help Ryan catch up Willie
so
5x=(x+39)*2
5x=2x+78
5x-2x=78
3x=78
x=78/3=26
Willie bangs off with a speed of 26 KMPH
..
Checking:
Distance Travelled by Willie=26*5=130
Distance Travelled by Ryan=(26+39)*2=65*2=130
