Question 1072987: Two cyclists are situated 60 miles apart. One has a falcon one his shoulder. The cyclists start riding toward each other at the same time, both maintaining a constant speed of 30 mph. The moment that they begin, the falcon flies off the first cyclist's shoulder toward the other cyclist. The falcon flies at a constant ground speed of 45 mph. When the falcon meets the other cyclist, he reverses direction and flies back to the first cyclist (who is now considerably closer). The falcon continues this back and forth pattern until the cyclists finally meet. How far did the falcon fly?

The cyclists will meet in = 1 hour.
During this time, the falcon will fly 45*1 = 45 miles.
Very old and very well known Travel and Distance problem.
